As we get older, our minds and bodies change — and not necessarily in ways that we’d like! This talk will provide the audience with the latest information on how the brain changes in healthy aging as well as in Alzheimer’s disease.
Moreover, the presentation will address common questions related to the genetic risk of Alzheimer’s disease, the differences between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and what treatments are just over the horizon. Thanks to Visiting Angels for sponsoring this event!
The presenter is Jonathan Jackson, Ph.D. is an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. I work as a cognitive neuroscientist investigating behavioral and brain changes as people get older as well as in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, with a focus on attentional control and executive function.
