Heather Thompson will talk on “Fall Risk Prevention Training for Mobility, Stability and
Improved Reaction Time”
Maintain your independence and confidence by learning to enhance your body’s ability to move and react to a loss of balance. A review of general fall prevention guidelines will be brief followed by demonstration and active participation, moving and checking your stability (balance) while being mobile. You’ll have an enhanced understanding and ability to prevent falls by increasing your reaction response to a loss of stability. Please wear clothing and footwear that is comfortable and exercise friendly. Participants of all levels of mobility are welcome. Course presented by Heather Thompson, HFS of Fitness Works.
